And he was also awarded a breeder's medal in bronze.
Hesselhoej Gnags is a modern and attractive dressage stallion. He is self-motivated and eager to learn with ground-covering, uphill movement in all 3 of his gaits.
Gnags delivered a captivating stallion test as a 3-year-old! As a 4-year-old, he was the overall winner of the preliminary rounds, with 920 points, and successfully participated in the finals!
His sire, the lustrous black stallion Grand Galaxy Win, has been very successful in international dressage.
Grand Galaxy Win was a WCYH finalist for 5-year-old dressage horses in 2016. In 2018 he had his first crop of progeny for selection, resulting in three approved sons, including one Premium stallion. Grand Galaxy's mother is the elite mare Winner T who is by the Grand Prix stallion Jazz. She is a full sister to successful Prix St. Georges mount, Volvo.
In the mare line you will find gold medal mares, elite mares, Grand Prix horses, championship winners and much more!
One who is especially worth mentioning is the granddam silver medal mare Søbakkehus Mia-Bella, who won the 4-year-old championship final and later went on to the Grand Prix. Mia-Bella has left a distinct and unique mark on Danish breeding and bloodlines.
His grandfather Tailormade Lancelot is an international Grand Prix horse and was a part of Great Britain's national team.
Great-grandfather Blue Hors Don Schufro hardly needs further introduction. He is a former Danish champion and Olympic bronze medal-winner and has been Number 1 on the German dressage index for breeding stallions 10 times. He is the father of the legendary Weihegold and has had more than 100 offspring in international sport.
Back 4 generations sees the 1999 Stallion of the Year, Midt West Ibi Light. He himself took part in the Olympics in Atlanta and is featured in the lineage of an incredible number of top horses, including the 2003 Mare of the Year Lyndelygaard's Mai Tai, who still has the highest mare test result ever. She is also the great-grandmother of Premium Stallion Hesselhoej Double Up.
The dam's side of his lineage is completely unique and there are very few other stallions who can boast such a strong performance pedigree.
The mother Søbakkehus Lady Gaga is a full sister to Søbakkehus Miami, who is the mother of the Premium stallion Hesselhoej Double Up.
Half-sister to Lady Gaga, Søbakkehus Mia Amore is the mother of the 2022 Young Horse Championship winner and WCYH finalist Søbakkehus Maude. She is also the mother of Søbakkehus Delayed who was a finalist in the 4-year-old Championship. Søbakkehus Miami is the mother of Hesselhoej Dream, who was selected as a Reserve for WCYH and participated in the Championship finals as both a 4.5 and 6 year old.
His grandmother is the silver medal mare Søbakkehus Mia Bella. She herself won the 4-year-old championship and later went on to the Grand Prix under Joachim Thomsen. In breeding, she is the grandmother of 4 Championship finalists, 3 approved stallions, 2 Premium stallions and a Young Horse Championship winner.
Grandmother Lyndelygaard's Mai Tai was the 2003 Mare of the Year and still has the highest test result ever.
